Decor VPRO Zomergasten

2017

VPRO Zomergasten, the grande dame of public broadcasting, becomes this year a new look. The decor will be refreshed and the question is to think and design along with the VPRO. My principles for the design of the new decor for VPRO Zomergasten are: A basic setting to show the images powerfully expressed. An artistic look which matched with the contrarian nature of the VPRO. Unity in design. Spaciousness, clarity, layering and depth. A warm ambience.

Tiny House - Art House

2016

The design ART HOUSE is a Tiny House for people with a creative profession. Of course it is also suitable for other target groups. In this house you can combine mortgage free living with work. It is suitable for 1 or 2 people with a basic lifestyle. ART HOUSE has an extraordinary appearance. Hedgerows around the houses provide a green transition to the public space. The terrace with the parkingspace at the back of the house offers a private place. The onsite parkingspace accommodates a small compact camper. This camper allows you to travel and work everywhere. The house is designed sustainable and energy efficiently and equipped with solar panels and a solar boiler. Park House

2016

Park House, a design for temporary housing of refugees for A Home Away From Home. The Park Houses are built in large numbers. When this demand falls or there are other solutions, the houses can be sold as housing for other target groups. Also the houses can be sold as Tiny House or studio to private individuals. The investments will be returned in the long term, making the plan economically feasible. The Park House includes 2 studios with shared use of kitchen and bathroom. It can be placed in small or larger numbers in any urban context.
