A design of studio Op&er for a lamp with a time display. The theme of the design is see and not see. The lamp is inspired by a moon cycle which is depicted in an hour. The varying brightness and colors of light provide different and special atmospheres into the interior. The lamp can be used in public spaces such as museums, restaurants and other public buildings, but also in spacious private homes. The relationship time and moon phases dates back to ancient times. One certain based on the lunar cycle and the seasons when it was the appropriate time to seed, to make sacrifices, or parties to celebrate. The lamp runs a moon cycle from a month in 1 hour. On the whole hours you can see the full moon, on the half hours the new moon. A small digital clock displays the correct time in the image. The dimensions of the lamp are from 2.5 x 2.5 metres and more. The lamp is made of a thin display with OLED technology. Software projects the light with clock at the screens.
